Located in a secluded haven along National Route 152, where you can enjoy the blessings of nature in all four seasons.
During warmer seasons, go fishing at mountain streams or play at the Kamimura River,
look for edible wild vegetables in spring, enjoy cool breeze in summer, and pick mushrooms in fall.
It is an ideal place to escape from the urban jungle. Here at the root of the Akaishi Range, the central tectonic line runs under your feet.
It is blessed with mineral-rich water flowing out of the mountains around the V-shaped valley.
The landlocked salmons and rainbow trout swim vigorously. You can come empty handed as rental rods and fishing baits are available.

Winter is over and spring has come, but there is still snow on the peaks of the Akaishi Range, and it is still the attire of midwinter. What a picturesque view!
Sunlight falling on the V-shaped valley (early summer)
This area is close to the sky in summer. On a sunny day, ultraviolet rays fall from the narrow sky while cutting through the clear air, Time to get ready for the summer sun.
A lodging facility with a restaurant stands at an altitude of 1900 m. From guest rooms, you can view 3000m-class mountains (Sei-dake, Hachi-dake, Osawa-dake, Arakawa-dake, etc.) which are Japanese representative mountains. This facility can be used as a base for staying on the plateau and climbing and hiking the surrounding mountains.
A superb view at an attitude of 800-1100 m. A plateau opens on a ridge extending from the Akaishi Range. In 2009, this village was selected as one of the “100 Best Villages in Japan,” and traditional vegetables and culture have been preserved.
